The Residence
The Résidence Le Beau Manguier is a small family guesthouse in Pereybere, built around a garden, a pool and the mango tree it is named after.
Nine units, not eighty. Manee, the owner, is the one who opens the gate, makes the breakfast and tells you where to eat. The rest of the day you have your own door, your own kitchen and your own terrace.
Pereybere is lively. Once you are through the gate you hear nothing but the birds — and in season the mangoes from the tree are left out for guests.

« A wonderful stay, we absolutely loved it. The guesthouse is perfectly placed, a step away from one of the finest beaches in Mauritius. Everything is walkable: the beach, the shops, restaurants and boutiques. The rooms are spacious, clean and well kept. The breakfast is generous. Manee is lovely, always around and full of good advice. The pool is spotless and quiet. Pereybere is lively, but once you are through the gate, under that magnificent mango tree, it is completely still: a real haven. »
